Excited for two dear friends, Janneane and Ben’s upcoming wedding. Below are invitation options for them.

Thank you to all of my dedicated blog viewers who remind me that people visit and look at my work.
Since I last blogged, I came home from seeing two of the world’s best in Egypt and resumed my life here at home in the mid-west. I found employment and have been designing as much as my britches can handle. Once and a while, I find a moment to read and in those moments, I have been making my way through all the Salinger titles I can find.
Among other things, over the past weeks I developed a logo and cards for Ryan Johnson’s photography business, Third Wonder Photography. The identity is almost purely typographic and serves as a sturdy yet flexible pairing to Johnson’s photography. A good amount of the given options can be seen below. The first of each was chosen. Visit his site here.

Designing for 3-D. Liked it. I just gave myself a back pat for working so much on vacation.

Some kind and talented folks from NY. Coming up with some preliminary visuals for them has been fun. Give them some link love: www.myspace.com/theboatlaunch or www.myspace.com/columbiatourist.
The beginnings of t-shirt design for a not-for-profit called the Congo Initiative whose aim is chiefly to promote education, leadership, and professionalism in this area of the world. To learn more about the organization or to help out, visit www.congoinitiative.org.

Branding for the blog of two dear friends. I like both color + b/w so I included one of each. More things coming soon!

In-progress programs for the lovely Heather Smith. These are a continuation of the wedding invitations finished earlier this summer which changed a little and are documented at the end of this post.

Here is the front side of an event invitation I created for the one and only Laura Walker, my mother. She’s the best. So are florals (it’s worth repeating).
Indiana has been great this summer. Future plans still seem uncertain, but whatever the path ends up being, I am excited for it. And hey, if I get to design for work, I think I will be pretty happy. If I don’t, I will drool thinking about it until I get home from whatever other job I find at which point I will make things anyway. Sounds like a win, win. Life is awesomeeeeee.
Hopefully this will help. She is sending it in a box full of fun dip. If I was hiring manager, I would eat all of the sugar dippers without sharing and then I would give everyone else the powder (at which point they would find out I ate the best part). And then I would hire Cassie.
